Our
“Sringeri Home” was an instant success. Encouraged by this success and
on persistent requests from several well-wishers and Senior citizens,
the Foundation has acquired an acre of land on the outskirts of
Bangalore and ten acres of land at Kolar 65 k.m. from Bangalore.
The new
project known as ‘SHANTI SADAN’ is on the outskirts of Bangalore at
Kattigenehalli, Jadigenahalli Hobli in Hoskote Taluka on the Hoskote
Malur Road. This site of one acre of land is 34 Kms. away from Indira Nagar
Bangalore, and 9 Kms. from Whitefield through a short-cut road, which is
under construction. We have planned to have about 100 flats in three different
sizes to suit the needs of the elders. The flats will be allotted to the
eligible elders along with all the facilities on lease basis for life
time with right to nominate closely related members of the family who
are likewise eligible in age.
The complex will be ready for occupation
around April,
2011.
The construction will be
done in two stages each with two storeys
Type -1
 325 Sq.ft consists of a bed with a pantry space
attached and an attached bath- toilet
Type -2
650 Sq.ft. with a hall, two bedrooms with a pantry
space and an attached bath-toilet.
Type – 3
725 Sq.ft. deluxe type as above.
Each flat will be
self-contained with a small pantry space where the residents
can have their choice food or drink prepared, when required.
Each
residents
have right
of occupation on lease basis with the facilities made available for
their life-time with right to nominate a closely related family member
eligible to become a resident.
