The
organization is managed by the founders with a few committed to
social causes.
The Foundation has presently a 19 member Board.
1) Mr. M. S. Pai,
93 years, is the Emeritus Chairman. He
had been instrumental in supporting the cause and persuading the
Philanthropists and heads of various institutions to donate
generously, for the cause.. An engineer by profession, Mr. Pai
started his career in Tata Airways as an Aero-Engineer and later
founded Heavy Engineering Co. Ltd. He is presently one of the
trustees of the Indo Japanese Association and is well connected
.
2) Mr. G.K.Ramamurthy,
70 years, the Chairman of the Foundation
(former Chairman of Ranbaxy) is a highly qualified professional
in the Pharmaceutical field. He promoted Crosslands Research
Laboratories Ltd. which was later merged with Ranbaxy
Laboratories Limited. He is presently doing yeomen service for
several projects in the social and health related projects,
promoting and managing several educational institutions and an
ultra-modern hospital at Gudalur in South India, to name only a
few. Mr. G. K. R as we fondly call has been rendering lot of
assistance to the foundation consistently and but for him we
would not have managed many teething problems of the Sringeri
Home which is now a marvel.
3) Capt. Raj
Mohindra, 74 years -
associated with the formation United World College at Pune. He
has been a great assistance to the foundation in the making of a
brochure which again was used for a website of the foundation in
www.greyingpilgrims.com
4) Mr. N. Hariharan,
a Company Secretary, a Cost Accountant and now a Practising
Company Secretary - 76 years- retired from service in 2006 from
Indian Express as its company secretary and Group Director. He
is the founder and Executive Director of the Foundation who
conceived and planned the Sringeri Home from acquisition of land
in 1999 and is presently C.E.O. of the Foundation. Apart from
spending a substantial part of his savings on this work, he met
several industrialists, friends and philanthropists and
obtained donations for the cause making Sringeri Home the best
among the old age homes.
5) Mr. K.V.Raman,
74 years, a civil engineer by profession, has been
consistently rendering selfless service for the Foundation ever
since inducted in 1999. His talents had been extremely useful
in the Sringeri Home (second stage) and in consolidating the
working systems. He would now be the moving spirit in our
projects at Bangalore and Kolar.

Mr. M.N. Ramamurthy,
60 years, a graduate from I.I.T., Mumbai and a professional
engineer. He is a Trustee of Acharya College, Mumbai. He would
be the driving force for the promotion of our project at
Bangalore and Kolar, along with Mr. K.V. Raman
7) Mr. N.V. Rajan,
has
been associated with the projects at Bangalore ever since the
birth of the Foundation in 1996. He had been the brain for
acquiring the land for the Bangalore project. As the guardian
director at Bangalore, he will be the main coordinator for the
Bangalore project.
8) Col. E.A. Nair, A selfless worker retired from military
service with great honours, devoted for the cause of the
Foundation. He stayed at the project site at Sringeri and
building up the basic facilities there. His timely involvement
in the Sringeri Project, laid the foundation strongly for our
growth.
9) Mr. A. Srinivasan,
President of the Hyatt Hotels is instrumental in acquiring
Kolar lands and presently is in-charge of the Kolar Project.
